Who I am

What is collected, and why

The free guide form collects your full name and email address, only when you submit them, and only with your explicit consent. They are used to email you the guide and, if you consented, occasional financial education emails. Your submission also records the content that referred you (for example, which post you arrived from) so I know what readers find useful.

Booking a call is handled by Cal.com, which collects the details you enter there under its own privacy terms.

Spam protection on the form is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process technical information about your browser to distinguish people from bots. This site sets no advertising trackers.

Site measurement tells me which pages are read and which buttons are used, so I can improve the site rather than guess at it. It records the page, the kind of action (for example, that a booking button was pressed), the country the request came from, and whether the screen was a phone or a desktop. It uses no cookies, stores no identifier for you, and cannot link one action to another or to any person — the records are counted, never followed. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, nothing is recorded at all. This runs on Cloudflare, on my own domain; no data goes to an advertising network.

Where it lives

Form submissions are stored in a private database (Cloudflare) and in the email service that sends the guide (MailerLite). Your details are never sold, rented or shared with third parties for their marketing.

Cookies

This site sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so there is nothing to opt out of and no consent banner to dismiss. The site measurement described above is deliberately cookieless for exactly that reason. Your theme choice (daylight or evening) is remembered in your browser's own local storage — it never leaves your device, and it clears whenever you clear your browser data.

Two services set their own strictly necessary cookies, and only when you use the feature they belong to: Cloudflare Turnstile, which tells people from bots on the guide form, and Cal.com, which runs the booking calendar. Both are required for those features to work at all, and each is governed by its own privacy terms. Blocking them in your browser will stop the form or the calendar working; the rest of the site reads normally.

Your choices

Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe. You may also ask, at any time, for a copy of the personal data held about you, for it to be corrected, or for it to be deleted entirely — from the database and the email service. Write to the contact address above and it will be actioned promptly, as required by Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

Clients

Client relationships are conducted through St. James's Place systems and are governed by their own privacy notices. This website does not collect or store client financial information.
